Stauffer Biscuit Company

 

Stauffer’s is best recognized for animal crackers but also produces a variety of crackers and cookies in three bakeries around the United States. Stauffer’s roots are still in York, Pennsylvania where the first animal crackers were produced in 1871. Two additional bakeries are located in Cuba, New York and Santa Ana, California. Stauffer’s west coast bakery started producing crackers and cookies in 2001.

Stauffer’s animal cracker and cookie varieties have expanded from Original, Mini, Chocolate, Iced and Cinnamon Graham. Stauffer’s recently introduced a new line of all natural animal crackers and animal cookies that are fun, wholesome, and delicious. The new all natural animal crackers and animal cookies are a good source of calcium, zero grams trans fat, and available in a brand new resealable package.

Each day Stauffer’s produces more than 250 tons of animal crackers, cookies, and snack crackers on fifteen oven lines using only the finest ingredients. Taste the rich cheddar cheese flavor of Whales available in several package sizes. Stauffer’s produces a variety of scrumptious cookies, such as Ginger Snaps, Lemon Snaps, Shortbread Cookies, Snickerdoodles, Vanilla Wafers and Graham Stix.

Celebrate the holidays with a delicious assortment of Stauffer’s cookies. Our signature item is the holiday tin collection, which is produced once a year and has become a much sought after collectors item.
